Case Study:

EDF Energy

40 Grosvenor Place is home to the UK’s largest energy company, EDF. BDG created a contemporary working environment that supports staff and visitors and crucially embodies EDF’s green commitments for the future.

The result is a clean, crisp space that enhances the brand message through the client journey and reinforces it for the employees. The fluid and open environment incorporates a number of work settings for employees and executive offices have been opened up to increase the feeling of transparency.

70% of the furniture has been reused, this was achieved by only replacing the tops of desks, task chairs were reupholstered and refurbished with new fabric and all high and mid height storage units were resprayed and refurbished. The timber flooring in Concierge & Breakout is reclaimed from Hoxton Gallery in East London and the Office Service Centre worktops are made from 100% recycled yoghurt pots.
