An inspiring talk by Frame, Moooi and BDG took place at The Residency at Sea Containers, where Moooi currently house their London showroom.
Robert Thiemann, Frame's Editor in Chief and Creative Director of BDG, Colin Macgadie, discussed "the best in office design". It was concluded that range, diversity and choice are all required within a workplace - one thing just doesn't work anymore. Macgadie offered an example of how using BDG's technology mapping for the ideal placement of facilities in the most relevant spaces of a building has proven to improve communication and collaboration. It has been found to encourange integration within the workplace environment and create diversity and movement within the space.
The event was attended by architects and designers interested in the subject matter from leading practices throughout London. The audience also enjoyed the stunning views from the 1st floor of Sea Containers across the river to St Paul's.
