WPP to open new campus in San Francisco
WPP will lease 115,000 square feet at 360 Third Street, a recently redeveloped building located in the heart of the US finance and technology district. This co-location campus will house over 1,000 people from it’s companies in San Francisco.
BDG architecture + design will be working in collaboration with Universal Design Studios, another WPP company, to design the interior office space which will encourage closer collaboration and inspire greater creativity.
As with previous WPP co-location campus buildings, the impact of health and wellbeing of the people and the planet will be a high priority. The San Francisco project will target a “Gold” LEED rating.
Mark Read, CEO of WPP, said:
“Technology, and technology clients, are critical to WPP’s strategy as we continue to evolve as a creative transformation company. The sector contains potential partners for WPP companies who are helping their clients deal with technology-disrupted markets, and potential clients in a growing category. The San Francisco campus gives us a base to develop both aspects.”
The move will be completed in the third quarter of 2021.
